In my house we watch DVD movie rentals as an alternative to banal TV shows. Therefore I watch at least five DVD movie rentals per week. Some DVD movie rentals are not worth the money because they are just as tasteless as some of the shows that are on television. I resent poor quality movies because I feel that by watching them I wasted ninety minutes of my life.
However there are definitely some DVD movie rentals that are so good that I would watch them again. Of all of the DVD movie rentals I have watched recently some are more memorable than others, which is why I would recommend them. These movies include Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire, Milk, The Reader, Australia, Doubt, Boy X and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. These are all good quality movies that actually force the viewer to think about them long after the final credits. I like this kind of movie much better than the type that is obviously intended to stop you thinking at all.
If you are interested in seeing any of the movies I have mentioned here you might wish to rent them. Alternatively you could buy cheap DVD movies so that you have the option of watching as many times as you wish.
